E-Learning Management Unit, in collaboration with the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, successfully conducted online examination training for Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) candidates. The training was designed to ensure that candidates are technically prepared and confident ahead of their upcoming online assessments. It focused on essential areas including examination portal navigation, digital assessment procedures, compliance with online examination protocols, and effective use of the required Learning Management System. The training also featured live demonstrations of the examination portal, interactive troubleshooting sessions, and real-time verification of candidates’ accounts and devices. These activities enabled participants to familiarize themselves with the examination environment and address potential technical challenges before the actual assessment. Providing strategic direction for the initiative, Dr. Mulugata Berihu, Academic Affairs Vice President of Aksum University, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to maintaining assessment integrity, quality assurance, fairness, and academic equity across its online learning and assessment platforms. The E-Learning Support Team played a central role in the successful implementation of the training by designing and delivering the technical training content and conducting live portal demonstrations. This initiative represents another important step in Aksum University’s ongoing effort to strengthen digital learning and assessment systems and to ensure that students have a reliable online academic experience.
