Aksum University December 18, 2025 (PIRE ) Aksum University’s E-Learning Management Unit Directorate organized a comprehensive awareness-raising platform on examination rules and regulations for first-year regular students, emphasizing the mandatory shift to the University’s online academic management system. The event, held today on Tahsas 9, 2018 EC (December 18, 2025 GC), was opened with an address by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, Director of the E-Learning Management Unit Directorate. Dr. Mohammed underscored that all examination-related processes and essential academic activities will be conducted exclusively through the University’s Online System. He urged students to immediately begin engaging with and practicing on the digital platform to ensure familiarity and compliance. Further addressing the gathering, Mr. Tekle G/Medhin, Coordinator of the Freshman Program Office, highlighted the critical importance of academic integrity. He explicitly defined examination malpractice as a serious disciplinary breach and reminded students of their responsibility to uphold ethical conduct throughout their studies. Adding practical value to the session, E-Learning Training Officer Mr. Tedros Zemikael presented and shared instructive academic materials designed to assist students in navigating digital learning tools and resources effectively. In closing remarks, a representative from the Registrar’s Office reiterated the central role of the Online System, stating, “Henceforth, all exam processes and result follow-ups will be managed through this system. Students are therefore required to diligently practice using and monitoring the online platform starting immediately.” Aksum University has been steadily integrating digital solutions into its academic and administrative framework. This workshop reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational delivery, ensuring transparency in assessments, and preparing students for a technology-driven academic environment while strictly maintaining institutional standards and integrity.
