የህዝብና ዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነት ስራ አስፈፃሚ
በዚህ የስልጠና መክፈቻ ዶ/ር ሃፍቶም ከበደ የተማሪዎች ዲን ተገኝተው መድረኩን ከፍተው የስልጠናው አላማ ከገለፁ በኃላ ዶ/ር ኣብሃም ነጋሽ ም የአስተዳደር እና ልማት ምክትል ፕረዝደንት “ተማሪዎች ይህ ስልጠና ከወሰዳቹ በኃላ ትምህርታቹ በሚገባ እንድትማሩ እና በትምህርታችሁ ጥሩ ውጤት እንድታመጡ ያግዛቹኃል ካሉ በኃላ ጥሩ ስልጠና እንዲሆንላቸው ምኞታቸው ገልፀዋል።
አሰልጣኞች ዶ/ር ትዕግስቱ መርሃ እና መ/ር በሪሁ ገ/ስላሴ ከትምህርትና ስነ ባህሪ ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ(Educational and Behavioral Science College ) የመጡ ሲሆኑ _የአዕምሮ ጤና (Mental Health)
_ራስህን መንከባከብ(Self care)
_የመጀመርያ ኣጋዥ ሳኮሎጂ (First Aid Psychology ) የሚሉ እና በሌሎች ርእሶች ወሳኝ ስልጠና ሰጥተዋል።
በስልጠናው ከተማሪዎች የቀረቡት ጥያቄዎች በአሰልጣኞች መልስ እና ማብራርያ የተሰጡ ሲሆን፤ በተጨማሪ መ/ር ዘለኣለም ሓጎስ የተማሪዎች ምክትል ዲን በመድረኩ ተገኝተው ይህ ስልጠና የመጀመርያ ሲሆን እንደዚህ ዓይነት ስልጠና በቀጣይነት ይሰጠል፤ ሰልጣኞች የዕረፍት ግዜያችሁ ሰውታቹ በዚህ ስልጠና በመገኘታችሁ አመስግናለሁ ካሉ ቀኋላ ቀጣይ በተመሳሳይ ስልጠናው ሌሎች እንዲሳተፉ በመጋበዝ የመድረኩ መዝግያ ንግግር አድርገዋል ። በመጨረሻ በዚህ ስልጠና ለተሳተፉ ተማሪዎች ምስክር ወረቀት ተሰጥቶቿል ።

Aksum University Provides Mental Health Training for Students”

Public and International Relations Executive
The Students’ Dean Office, in collaboration with Academic Affairs and the Vice President’s Office, provided Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) training for students.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Haftom Kebede, Students’ Dean, outlined the objectives of the training. Subsequently, Dr. Abraham Negash, Vice President for Administration and Development, emphasized: “This training will help you focus on your studies and achieve better academic results.” He also expressed his wishes for a successful training session.
The trainers, Dr. Tigist Merha and Mr. Berihu G/selassie from the College of Educational and Behavioral Sciences, covered critical topics including:
– Mental Health Awareness
– Self-Care Strategies
– Psychological First Aid
alongside other essential subjects.
Participants’ questions were addressed through detailed explanations by the trainers. Additionally, Mr. Zelealem Hagos, Students’ Vice Dean, noted that “this inaugural training marks the beginning of sustained support,” thanking attendees for dedicating their break time. He urged broader participation in future sessions. Certificates of participation were awarded upon conclusion
