Her participation greatly enriched the training by enabling residents from Mekelle University to observe and learn advanced surgical techniques firsthand. Multiple complex glaucoma surgeries were performed during the program, providing invaluable educational and clinical benefits. This entire initiative was made possible through the generous support of the Cure Blindness Project, whose continuous collaboration has been central to improving eye care delivery in our institution. Aksum University Comprehensive Specialized Hospital expresses its sincere appreciation to Dr. Abeba Teklegiorgis and the Cure Blindness Project for making this capacity-building effort successful. This program represents a significant step toward expanding specialized eye care services and strengthening ophthalmic training programs.
