Contact Us to BeginYes, all counseling sessions are strictly confidential. Information shared in counseling will not be disclosed to anyone outside the counseling services without your written permission, except in rare circumstances legally required for safety (e.g., harm to self or others).
Our counseling services are available to all currently enrolled Aksum University students, free of charge. You just need your valid student ID.
The number of sessions varies depending on individual needs. Your counselor will discuss a treatment plan with you during your initial intake. We aim for short-term, solution-focused therapy, but can also help with referrals for long-term support if needed.
If you are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis or emergency, please do not wait for an appointment. Contact our emergency line (+251 347 XXX XXX), Campus Security, or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room.
