Cooperatives

1.1.Rationale of the Program

Any learning program in higher institutions will have its own set of expectations and such program demand would have derived through many inputs. Such inputs would normally come from the interest of stakeholders including the teachers, students, industry, government …etc. The old educational system had its own drawbacks. So, to improve such drawbacks, implementation of modularization approach in higher education institutions is imperative. This approach is demanding due to recommendations made in the BPR document, the Higher Education Council direction, and the theoretical grounds. Besides, the existing curricula and educational program of the department has also suffered from the limitations such as mismatch between the outcomes and expectations, changes in the industry trends, new development or alterations of the current knowledge and practices as well as new domains.
